Every time I am in a big city with some time to spare I head to a local zoo to meet with apes. LA Zoo has some lovely species but because of huge ugly metal net surrounding their place I could not make a single photo. Quite a disappointment. I was about to leave but then we've met. The path was narrow but neither of us did not want step aside. Battle! I stood my ground using my camera as a shield clicking with a shutter. He tried to intimidate me with loud rattle of his feathers. With all his feathers expanded an angry peacock becomes ten times more his size and it is an impressive sight. Finally his nerves gave in. He shrunk his body back to size of the turkey and quickly retreated into the bush.
